This training program enables participants to assemble, disassemble, and move a frame-type scaffold, in addition to teaching them all the fundamentals of working around and on this type of scaffold.
It provides in-depth information on laws, rules, and standards; on all components of frame scaffolding; on their use and installation; and on the precautions to be taken.
Program Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Safely install, use, inspect, and dismantle a frame scaffold;
- Identify and manage risks associated with working at heights and frame scaffolding;
- Fully assume the role and responsibilities of a qualified installer and inspector, as defined by law and CSA standards;
- Understand and be familiar with the standards, codes, laws, and regulations related to frame scaffolding.
Target Audience
This training is intended for any worker required to perform work around and on a frame scaffold, as well as any worker designated to assemble, disassemble, or move a frame scaffold.
