This training program teaches participants how to properly set up and take down a Fraco mast climber using the ground-based anchoring system.
It provides information on health and safety related to the use and operation of the equipment, as well as on laws, regulations, and standards, and the precautions to take during use and installation.
Program Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify and assess the risks associated with mast-type aerial work platforms based on the worksite, the environment, and the nature of the work to be performed;
- Understand and explain safe usage and operating procedures;
- Operate and inspect a Fraco mast-type aerial work platform;
- Install and dismantle a Fraco mast climber using the ground-based anchoring system;
- Understand and be familiar with the standards, codes, laws, and regulations related to mast-type aerial work platforms.
